Ever have one of those days? I did recently when we filmed the VLOG for TDD 7 & 8. The main camera has a 19 minute time limit because it is a DSLR. We time it so we know when it will stop. However, I forgot to turn on the mic, the main mic, for that camera. The other two cameras can run continuously. That is, if they have electricity. Both of those cameras shut off unexpectedly at different times in the middle of filming. Of course I didn’t know this until we were done. Finally, the main camera also ran out of electricity.
So, I wound up with an odd assortment of video, some without sound. After looking at it all I decided that I cannot make a coherent piece out of it and will need to shoot again.
This time all camera’s will be running on ac power. And I’ve made myself a check list so that I don’t forget to turn on the mic.
While it doesn’t look like I’ve been doing anything, I’ve actually been doing a lot . . . just nothing that I can share!

Well a clear application of Murphy’s law.
