Hello you Wonderful People!,
I began cleaning out Facebook Friends today. Facebook allows me 5K friends and I routinely hit that limit. So here is the un-scientific, un-sofistcated means by which I am doing this. I scroll down the list (5K takes a while) and if a name doesn’t have over 100 mutual friends and I don’t immediately recognize the name I “unfriend” it.
Obviously I do not have 5K close personal friends. Truth is, among the few close personal friends I have on facebook, usually we share less than 5 mutual friends.
The majority of my Facebook “friends” presumably are interested in TrueAiki.com because that is just about the only thing I post on Facebook about. That is why I’ve used mutual friend thing as a friending or un-friending folks I don’t know personally. I assume we share mutual “friends” with mutual interests.
I don’t want to “unfriend” anyone with a sincere interest in TrueAiki.com or me. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if I unfriended you by mistake, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know. Ask me to friend you or whatever.
I’m just trying to make room for the people that are really interested in my posts but can’t get “friended” because there are no available spots left.
I’d love to believe that there are 5K people sincerely interested in what I have to post . . . but I kind of doubt it. ;-P
